Teardrop nose concave creates lift and hold up front, then softens through the middle into a clean, neutral exit.

A wide, balanced plan shape adds lift under the nose and stability through the middle, with a fuller tail block for carry and control.

Can I order this model without a Design Session?
Yes. Choose one of the listed dimensions and order it directly from this page. Use a Design Session only when you want to change the specification or add decorations, change colour, or make another custom change.
What makes a Yugen board different?
Every Yugen model is designed for a clear purpose: to help a surfer create a specific feeling or make progress toward a specific goal. The range combines surfboard design knowledge with practical experience in surfing skills development.
What materials are used in the standard build?
We use premium polyurethane foam blanks, E-GLASS fiberglass and polyester resin for all our boards.
How durable is a Yugen fiberglass board?
We focus on careful craftsmanship and select premium materials for the intended build. Like any fiberglass surfboard, its life also depends on how it is surfed, transported and stored. Direct impacts, excessive heat and water entering an unrepaired ding can shorten its life. You will receive specific care instructions when you place your order.
How are Yugen boards shaped?
Each board begins with its 3D design and is precision CNC cut, then finished by hand. We believe that precision at the time of manufacturing ensures the board behaves the way it was intended and keeps consistency high.
